The Hau`oli Mau Loa Foundation has partnered with CGAPS since 2011 as part of their mission which includes “promoting stewardship, preservation, and protection of the natural environment.” Each year, the CGAPS Steering Committee identifies and submits to the Foundation several high-priority invasive species projects that fall outside of the existing capacity or scope of agencies, yet could really advance progress in the areas of invasive species prevention. Annual proposals contain descriptions of the projects and the accomplishments are detailed in the CGAPS Annual Reports.
For the 2024-2028 prevention projects, CGAPS has developed new benchmarks as measures.
