The CGAPS mission is to coordinate and catalyze action among government and non-government partners to prevent and manage invasive species in Hawai‘i, as well as communicate key issues to the public. Island-Based Partnerships and Statewide Coordination
From 2002-2009, CGAPS, the Invasive Species Committees, and DLNR worked together to compile and distribute statewide reports to help raise awareness of the work of the Invasive Species Committees and the Aquatic Invasive Species Team in filling some gaps in rapid response and community outreach.
